What is the process to install Liquid Vinyl Siding?
Liquid Vinyl Siding is a unique product perfected to last. Insist on the only product that will stand the test of time. Don't be fooled by other coatings that have warranties that can't be backed up. AM-VI-CO® Liquid Vinyl is a commercial level product requiring commercial grade equipment an specialized training to install. The application process consists of 10-steps...

STEP 1 Initial Inspection
We thoroughly inspect the exterior of your home and all surfaces. Surface preparation is the most critical phase of the application process. You can't build a strong house without a solid foundation - and the same applies to any coating product! A work order, specific for your home, is prepared to necessitate any needed repairs and prepare the surfaces to get your home back into top shape.

STEP 2 Pressure Cleaning and Removal of Mold & Mildew
High pressure cleaning by hydro blasting with a mildew remover is performed. Mold and mildew is killed and removed. Grease, surface contaminants and debris is removed along with any loose or peeling paint. A clean, contaminant-free surface is left.

STEP 3 Patch and Repair
Rotten wood is removed and replaced with fresh lumber. After repairs are made, the area is sanded and feathered ensuring a professional appearance. Surface cracks and gaps are filled with a special water resistant, 50-Year filling compound.

STEP 4 Scraping and Sanding
Any remaining rough surfaces are scraped. The rough edges are feather-sanded to give a professional appearance. Rusty nail heads are treated and sealed. All exposed bare wood is sealed and a stain block may be used for woods susceptible to 'tannin staining'. Hardware and decorative fixtures are protected or temporarily removed. Landscaping, fencing, decking and other areas are covered to prevent splattering. Windows and doors are covered and shielded to prevent over spray. The surfaces is now ready for the bonding coat.

STEP 5 Masking and Taping
Hardware and decorative fixtures are protected or temporarily removed. Landscaping, fencing, decking and other areas are covered to prevent splattering. Windows and doors are covered and shielded to prevent over spray. The surfaces is now ready for the bonding coat.

STEP 6 Bonder Coat
A Liquid Vinyl Bonder is applied to all surfaces being coated. After it has been applied, we give the penetrating component in the bonder at 48 hours to work into the surface and setup. The adhesive property of the bonder fuses with the substrate and serves as an excellent base coat for the Liquid Vinyl coating.

STEP 7 Pre-Application Inspection
Surfaces are inspected again prior to the application of the Liquid Vinyl Siding.
Additional surfaces preparation may be performed to ensure a quality appearance.

The final surface preparation is completed.

STEP 8 Installation of Liquid Vinyl Siding
The Liquid Vinyl coating is mostly sprayed but some may be brushed around the trim pieces. Liquid Vinyl Siding will look like a freshly painted surface without hiding the character of the surface. When you run your hand across it, it has a smooth, luxurious feel to it. It's easy to clean and stays looking fresh year after year. You can be assured your home is protected. No moisture can penetrate the coating, yet the coating still allows your home to breathe with a amazingly high permeability rating.

STEP 9 Quality Assurance Inspection
A final inspection of the completed project is performed with you. We guarantee complete satisfaction with the quality of workmanship and appearance of the product. We leave your home with a durable finish that looks rich and satiny, able to stand up to the most hash of weather conditions. We’re not satisfied until you are!

STEP 10 30-Year Warranty (non-prorated)
A registered 30-Year Warranty will be sent to you directly from the manufacturer giving you the peace of mind knowing that your home is protected and may never need repainting again. The warranty stays with the home and can be transferred to the next owner. Liquid Vinyl Siding not only beautifies your home, but is also a smart investment. You will be amazed at the increased value Liquid Vinyl Siding can add to a home. It will certainly pay for itself many times over and actually, is less expensive than ordinary paint over time.
